James Corden played an impromptu DJ set at Propaganda Birmingham at o2 Academy Birmingham on Friday 21st October. James who was performing in One Man Two Guvnors in Birmingham came to Propaganda, The UK's Biggest Indie Night to see Rizzle Kicks play live as part of their Propaganda UK tour.

After watching the band side of stage, James was persuaded to DJ at Propaganda in front of 2500 people. He played for around 45 minutes along side Propaganda's DJ Dan & The Postman. He spun tracks by the likes of Kasbian, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and even played Salt and Pepper's 'Push It'.

Lily Allen has previously played an impromptu DJ set at Propaganda while Ed Sheeran performed an unannounced live set at Propaganda with Rizzle Kicks in Newcastle last week. James Corden's fellow Gavin & Stacey star Mat Horne is also a regular DJ at Propaganda.

Propaganda DJ and creator DJ Dan said "We were thrilled to have James Corden play an impromptu DJ set at Propaganda, it's the first time he has ever DJed and we'd love to get him back again if he'd be up for it"!

Propaganda is joining forces with ActionAid at Beach Break Live and Reading Festival to offer you the chance to say bollocks to poverty while doing the things you already love doing.

The ActionAid tent will be back in 2011 with comfy seating, giant games, Propaganda DJs till late and the lovable Bollocks to Poverty crew who will take your photo as part of the campaign for tax justice in poor countries. As well as probably covering you in stickers/ transfers while giving you a hug too!

Propaganda is bringing the party to Glastonbury this summer! The UK's biggest indie night is finally teaming up with the world's biggest festival!


We are very excited to announce that Propaganda is hosting a special silent disco in the dance village at Glastonbury every night of the festival until 7am with DJ Dan and the Propaganda resident DJs!

After the success of his sold out Propaganda debut tour back in September, Johnny Borrell is back for more! Propaganda is delighted to announce 6 more dates across the UK for Johnny & his band.

Johnny Borrell & and his full live band will start their second set of Propaganda dates in Leicester on Saturday the 20th of November. The following week then sees Johnny head to the capital for Propaganda London at the O2 Academy Islington & then plays his last date in November the following day (Sat 27th Nov) at Propaganda Leeds.

Johnny will be performing the 4th date of his tour at Propaganda's sister club night, Ramshackle at the O2 Academy Bristol on the 3rd of December.
He then travels to Manchester for his penultimate gig on the 4th of December at Moho Live and finishes the tour at Propaganda Glasgow the following week on the 10th of December!

Propaganda is bringing you 16 'spookily' good Halloween parties. We kick Halloween week off with The Inbetweener's James Buckley giving you the 'scariest' sounds at Propaganda Bristol at the Sydicate on Wednesday (27th Oct).
Mike 'Naboo' Fielding will then be manning the decks at Propaganda Cheltenham at Moo Moo on Thursday (28th Oct) as well as two massive Halloween parties in Cardiff and Reading on the same night.

We are very pleased to announce Johnny Borrell will be playing four live dates at Propaganda across the UK! Johnny and his band will be kicking things off at Propaganda Birmingham this Friday (24th Sep) with Radio 1's Nick 'Grimmy' Grimshaw taking to the decks on the night. Saturday (25th Sep) then sees Johnny Borrell play at the launch of Propaganda Oxford at the O2 Academy where Edith Bowman will also play an exclusive DJ set.

Johnny then takes his band to Sheffield at the O2 Academy on the 1st Oct and finishes his Propaganda tour at the launch of Propaganda Liverpool on the 2nd Oct with The Mighty Boosh's Mike 'Naboo' Fielding providing the tunes on the night!

Freshers week (20th Sep - 25th Sep) at Propaganda is looking bigger and better than ever with a host of top guest DJ's playing through out the week! We Kick things off with Propaganda Bristol at the Syndicate on Wednesday. Then Thursday sees the launch of Propaganda Cardiff at Glam club with Mat Horne on the decks as well as Propaganda Cheltenham with Radio 1's Edith Bowman!



Friday we then take you to Birmingham at the O2 Academy where Nick 'Grimmy' Grimshaw plays you his eclectic indie set. Propaganda was created by DJ Dan in a small venue in Bristol, thanks to all of your support it has since grown to be not only Bristols largest weekly club night but also the UKs Biggest Indie night with thousands of people attending its many nights across the country.

When Propaganda decided to hold its first ever mini festival, we knew it had to be in Bristol. We wanted to give something back to the city that supported us so much. We wanted an amazing line up with an affordable entry price and drinks offers for what will be a historic event. It is therefore with great excitement that we present the Propaganda Mini Festival on Wednesday 2nd September 2009.

Split between four venues all within a few seconds walk of Syndicate, with one special wrist band giving you entry to everything. This unique and very special audio visual extravaganza will feature 4000 people, live bands, DJs, bowling, a comedy cinema room, Guitar Hero on stage and loads more!

We are sad to announce that Propaganda has been forced to close in Nottingham due to a serious fire which broke out on at a restaurant next to Gatecrasher while the venue was closed.

The fire did not spread extensively to Gatecrasher but the club has suffered serious smoke and heat damage and will remain closed whilst restoration takes place. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed and until that time no guarantees can be made as to when the club will reopen.
